Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

Using the service means you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. Simple as that.

2. What this is

Aetlis.io Skins lets you upload and share custom skins for use in the Aetlis.io game. You can browse community skins, favorite them, and submit your own through a moderation queue.

3. Accounts

3.1 — Discord login

We use Discord OAuth. Logging in lets us see your username, user ID, and avatar — that's it. Keep your Discord account secure, since that's how you access everything here.

3.2 — Age requirement

You need to be at least 13 to use this service (per Discord's own ToS and COPPA). If you're younger, please don't sign up.

4. Upload rules

4.1 — What's not allowed

Don't upload skins that include any of the following:

• Personal info — faces, license plates, phone numbers, addresses, anything that identifies a real person
• Sexual content — nudity, suggestive imagery, revealing clothing
• Harmful stuff — drugs, weapons, smoking, alcohol promotion, violence
• Hate speech — slurs, bigotry, racism, sexism, homophobia, discrimination of any kind
• Copyrighted material — logos, characters, artwork you don't own rights to
• Ads or spam — commercial promotions, referral links, etc.
• Bad quality — grainy, pixelated, or just genuinely low-effort images
• Dark backgrounds — skins that blend into the game's dark background. Run /borderfy in our Discord to fix this

4.2 — Technical stuff

• Max file size: 5 MB
• Formats: PNG, JPEG, WebP
• You can have at most 3 skins pending review at once

4.3 — Moderation

Every skin goes through moderation before it goes public. Mods can approve it, reject it with a reason, or delete it if it's a serious violation. If you get rejected, the reason is there to help you fix it — not to punish you.

5. Your rights & responsibilities

5.1 — Ownership

You keep the rights to whatever you upload. But by marking a skin as public, you give Aetlis.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display it within the service.

5.2 — Conduct

While using the service, you agree to:

• Not try to game or bypass moderation
• Not use bots or automation to abuse anything
• Not resubmit rejected content without actually fixing the issue
• Be decent to other users and mods

6. IP & content

Aetlis.io Skins — the code, the design, the branding — belongs to us. The content you upload belongs to you, as long as you actually have the rights to it. If you upload something that infringes on someone else's IP, that's on you.

7. Privacy

Check our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect and how we use it.

8. No warranties

The service is provided as-is. We can't promise it'll be up 24/7, bug-free, or perfectly secure. Use it with that in mind.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Aetlis.io isn't liable for data loss, downtime, damages from user content, or anything indirect or consequential that comes from using the service.

10. Bans & termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts at any time — for ToS violations, abusive behavior, legal reasons, or really anything else. If you think your ban was a mistake, reach out in our Discord server and we'll take a look.

11. Changes to these terms

We'll update these when needed. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version. We'll try to flag major changes when they happen.

12. Governing law

These terms follow applicable international law. Disputes get handled through good-faith negotiation first, binding arbitration if that doesn't work.

14. Misc

If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. These Terms (plus the Privacy Policy) are the whole agreement between you and Aetlis.io.
